What is Tesamorelin?
Tesamorelin is a synthetic growth release hormone that is used in the treatment of HIV-associated lipodystrophy. This peptide contains 44 amino acids and attacks the visceral, organ fat associated with HIV medication that can buildup over time.
There are still tests being done on Tesamorelin to see if it damages any organs or can be used to help with attacking normal fat that can accumulate on the body.
What are the side effects of Tesamorelin?
Some side effects of Tesamorelin include nausea, night sweats, stomach upset, trouble sleeping, and vomiting. But serious side effects such as any allergic reactions are advised to call 911 due to a medical emergency.
Blood sugar is a problem in Tesamorelin that has been noted in small term tests, but long term use of Tesamorelin has been shown that blood sugar can bring itself back to normal. High blood sugar on Tesamorelin may make you feel confused, drowsy, or thirsty. It can also make you flush, breathe faster, or have a fruit-like breath odour.
What is the dosage amount of Tesamorelin I should take?
Tesamorelin should be taken once daily and should be injected after preparation. The syringe should be filled to 2mg a day. This is effective for men and women.
